LOST FUTURES

Photography, monotypes, collage

2024 to present

This series  explores the unsettling parallels between Albuquerque, New Mexico's nuclear weapons legacy and the intimate violence of its streets—two forms of destruction, one monumental and distant, the other immediate and personal. The bomb and the bullet are both products of this nation’s contradictions: symbols of power, fear, and survival, yet rendered invisible by economic and political interests.

Collages juxtapose original  images and public archives of  co-existing homicide and nuclear weapons research sites.
